SpeedSync, is a 4 part system that prevents a fitted motor vehicle from exceeding the posted speed limit. This system can be used any where there is a fixed speed limit. The system requires the following components:
- Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) Receiver
- Controlling Software (called SpeedSync)
- Throttle Control Unit (TCU)
- Speed zone database, which includes GPS coordinates, and speed zones either in mph or kmh. (This database is updatable through a website as speed zones change).
